ABOUT: Set against the landscapes of an imaginary town, THE INK-STAINED HAND AND THE MISSING THUMB is a story of love, migration, and loss. Following two toll booth workers whose lives are transformed by an unforeseen tragedy, the film moves between memory and reality, creating a deeply human portrait of grief and resilience.
Premiering at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

ABOUT: The film explores the emotional and environmental toll of the Vyasi hydroelectric dam on the Himalayan village of Lohari. Through poetic letters and the perspective of the last Jaunsari boy in the region, the documentary captures the fading myths, displaced culture, and the tragedy of a once-magical land being swallowed by rising waters. World premiered at Vision Du Reel 2025, Switzerland.

ABOUT: In a small village in the mountains of Uttarakhand, a daughter is lured by the possibilities of city life, while her mother is haunted by the prospect of their land’s desolation. Winner of the gender sensitivity award at the “Dharamshala International Film Festival, 2021” in association with the Film critics guild.
